My name is Erika and I am a graphic designer from Manila, Philippines, where I lived for the first 17 years of my life. I have been fortunate enough to have lived and worked in several cities around the world after that, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, London, and now, tropical Singapore.
My journey as a designer began when I created my first website in 1997. It was hosted on Geocities, featured graphics created in Microsoft Paint, three links in bright neon green, and text set in Times New Roman. But hey, it was my baby, I was proud of it, and I had a blast designing it.
Since then, I have been designing for various media, such as video, print, and the web. Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, and text editors are among the tools I tinker with on a regular basis.
